For frames labeled oversized or XL - brands like Oakley, Ray-Ban, and Maui Jim make plenty of options in those sizes that actually fit wide faces properly instead of pinching at the temples. Wraparound styles work really well because they follow the natural contour of a wider face and tend to sit more comfortably. Avoid small cat-eyes or narrow rectangular frames since those will look out of proportion. Try them on in person if you can, because what feels good matters more than the name on the frame.

Frame width is measured in millimeters on the inside of the arm - aim for 140mm+ and check that number before buying, since "oversized" marketing is pretty inconsistent across brands. You might also want polarized lenses if you're often outside, since wider frames usually come in that option and reduce glare better than regular tints.
