I've been working from anywhere for three years now and would love some good book recommendations on the subject. Not just practical guides, but also novels or stories that reflect this lifestyle change. Does anyone have something good for me?
I'd be cautious about all those "Digital Nomad" guides that promise you financial independence in two weeks - most of them are pretty shallow. Better option: "The 4-Hour Workweek" by Tim Ferriss is also a guide, but way more substantive and not just fluff. With novels/narratives it gets tricky because there aren't many that explicitly deal with it - try "Educated" by Tara Westover, less about nomadism but a lot about independence and questioning established structures. For a more reflective perspective, "The Almanack of Naval Ravikant" could also help you out, it's about location independence but also the philosophy behind it.
