Can I keep my license plates if I change cars?
I bought a used Peugeot 3008 and I'd like to keep the license plates from my old car. I asked the seller but he didn't really know. How does the process work?

You're gonna have to change your plates unfortunately, that's not how it works in France. You gotta do a new registration at the prefecture or sub-prefecture with your new vehicle, and you'll get new plates - the previous owner can't keep theirs either, there's a strict procedure for that.
