First thing is to go to haveibeenpwned.com and enter your email to see if it shows up in any known data breaches, so you can check without any risk.
If it comes up that it did, it tells you right there which sites got hacked, so you change your password on those places first and then see if you need to do it anywhere else.
The thing is, even if you've had the same password for years, if it was leaked in a recent hack, only the services where you used it are exposed, not the whole internet.
