Real Wordle actually forces you to think differently after your first few attempts. What works for me is starting with words that have common vowels and consonants that are different from each other, and then paying close attention to which letters don't change position even when I try them in other spots.
If you've been stuck on the same one for three days, maybe you need to stop thinking of obvious words and try weird combinations, or just come back tomorrow because sometimes your brain just needs a break and then it clicks.
There are also websites that show you all the valid words if you put in the letters you've already ruled out, though obviously that takes away the fun.
