How to sew in a hidden zipper on a dress so it's not visible?
I decided to sew myself a summer linen dress, but the zipper keeps popping out of the seams. Maybe there's some trick to make it lie flat and not be visible from the front at all?

If your zipper keeps popping out, the problem is most likely that the seam allowances are getting in the way and preventing it from lying flat. When you're pressing, try to press those allowances out as carefully and evenly as possible - even small wrinkles will prevent the presser foot from gripping the fabric properly. And here's something people often miss: before you sew the zipper, you need to stretch it slightly along the length of the seam. Zippers have a tendency to shrink a bit, and if you don't stretch it carefully, it'll start to pucker up as you wear the dress and twist out of the fold.
One more tip from experience: if you have a hidden zipper foot, make sure you're positioning it correctly. The needle should run as close to the fold as possible, almost into it. Test it first on a scrap of fabric with a spare zipper - sew a few centimetres, look at how it looks from both sides. And linen can be tricky with this: the fabric's dense, so your needle needs to be sharp and the thread tension needs to be adjusted properly. Sew slowly, don't rush - it really does help.

Now for the really important part - use a special presser foot for hidden zippers! Without it there's no point even starting. This foot pushes the zipper teeth to the side, so the needle goes into the fold of the fabric allowance, not into the teeth themselves. Open the zipper all the way, carefully line it up with the allowances and sew one edge of the zipper first, then the other. The zipper tape should be offset slightly from the edge of the allowance - about 2-3 mm. When you sew it all on and turn the dress right side out, the zipper won't be visible at all!
I used to have zipper ends poking out all the time for the same reason - the allowances weren't ironed properly. One more tip: if the zipper is too stiff, rub the teeth with a pencil (the graphite helps it slide better), and sewing will be way easier and straighter!
