A hidden zipper is exactly what you need if you want it to be completely invisible. The main trick is to lay out the fabric correctly. When you attach the zipper to the seam allowances, you need to fold the fabric allowances inward so the zipper teeth are completely hidden between the layers of fabric. I usually press the allowances first, then carefully fold them and pin them right onto the zipper. The key thing is that the fabric fold needs to sit snugly against the teeth, otherwise the zipper will twist when you sew.
