I had a dream that I was losing all my teeth, is that serious?

It really stressed me out last night. I dreamed that my teeth were falling out one by one and I woke up with this anxiety feeling. It's been happening a lot over the past few months. Is there some particular meaning behind it or is it just my work stress?

It's a super common dream and honestly it's more linked to stress than anything serious 😅 No need to rush to the dentist, but if it keeps happening over months, that's clearly your brain signaling that you're way too stressed out. There's no real "universal meaning" - it's just that our brain uses teeth to symbolize anxiety, loss of control, that kind of stuff. You might want to figure out where the stress is coming from (work, relationships, health?) and try to manage it a bit, because dreams that keep coming back like that are a signal 💪

The thing that really makes a difference is stopping yourself from checking your teeth when you wake up - the more you do it, the more you reinforce the anxiety and the dream keeps coming back. If it's been going on for months, try writing down what happens during the day before (mental load, conflict, bad night before) and you might spot a pattern. Sometimes it's just your brain getting rid of stress in a weird way, but if you can figure out what's triggering it, you can work on that instead of the dream itself.
