Is Apple actually trying to get back into the server business?

So Apple's apparently looking at using Nvidia technology for servers. Not sure why this matters to regular people, but if Apple does move into enterprise servers, it could shake things up in that market. Curious if this means anything for folks who use Apple products or rely on cloud services.

Apple has been investing in custom silicon and data center infrastructure, and there's definitely been reporting about them exploring server-grade hardware, but it's more about powering their own services (iCloud, AI features, etc.) rather than selling servers to other companies like they did back in the early 2000s. For regular Apple users, this mostly matters indirectly - better infrastructure on Apple's end could mean faster, more reliable cloud services, but you probably won't notice a huge shift unless you work in enterprise IT.
