I have a reasonably large garden and I'd never trade natural grass for synthetic, even if it meant less work - natural looks so much better with proper maintenance and it also helps with drainage and soil moisture. Synthetic ends up being expensive, it gets way too hot in the sun, and after a few years it degrades completely and you have to replace it anyway, so it doesn't really seem worth it to me.

Synthetic grass only makes sense if you want zero maintenance, because the upfront cost is really high and you lose that feeling of actually taking care of a real plant 🌱 I'd rather plant natural grass even if it's more work, way more rewarding!
