I've had my Thermomix TM6 for three years and since yesterday it's making this weird grinding noise when running at medium speed. I use it regularly for soup and pasta, so it's not like I'm being rough with it. Is this normal or should I call customer service? Has anyone else had the same problem?

The friction noise often shows up when small food bits get stuck between the bowl and the blades, so before calling customer service try taking the bowl and blades completely apart to give underneath a good clean and check there's nothing hanging around 🔧 If the noise is still there after a thorough cleaning, then it's clearly something internal that's worn out and you need to contact them because it's complicated equipment you can't really tinker with yourself.
