I've taken several courses on Coursera and Udemy over the past few months (Python, data analytics, etc.) but I'm not really sure if it's worth adding them to my CV. Do recruiters actually take that seriously or is it just filler?
It really depends on the field and the level of the company! For data analytics or Python, it's definitely more credible than it used to be, especially if you've got concrete projects to show alongside it. Recruiters don't just look at the cert, they want to see what you've actually built with those skills, so if you can list them in a dedicated section and link them to actual accomplishments that carries way more weight than just padding your resume.
