What problems can a cheap Chinese car stereo have?

I bought one of those cheap Android car stereos for €50 on AliExpress because I wanted to save money, but it's been installed for a month now and it's already giving me problems. The screen freezes every time I connect my phone via USB and the audio cuts out when I brake. Is this normal with these devices or did I make a bad purchase?

Those cheap Chinese units have super low-quality components and crappy software, so the problems you're describing (frozen screen, audio dropouts) are pretty typical of the ultra-budget range. You basically made a bad purchase, honestly, because even though some of them work okay, it's like playing the lottery with nonexistent warranties and zero real tech support if something breaks.
