The confirmation bias angle is solid, but I'd push back a little - people also get better at *reading* tarot the more they do it, kind of like how you get better at recognizing patterns in anything with practice.

That said, "becoming more accurate" is the wrong frame entirely. Tarot works best as a reflection tool that helps you think through stuff you're already worried about, not as actual prediction.
