Tarot readings aren't actually becoming more accurate - confirmation bias is just making it seem that way. You remember the hits and forget the misses, plus vague cards can apply to almost anything if you're looking for meaning.
I'd agree with what's already been said about confirmation bias. I've noticed this with beekeeping too, actually - like I'll read something about colony collapse and then notice a few hives struggling and think "wow, that article nailed it" when really hives always have issues. Tarot cards are super vague on purpose, so your brain just fills in the blanks to make it fit whatever's going on in your life at the moment. It's not that they're getting more accurate, it's that our pattern-recognition brains are really good at connecting dots that aren't actually there.
