Which plants actually bring life to a dark interior?

Pothos and philodendrons are really your friends for a dark corner - they survive anywhere and grow fast so you see results pretty quickly. Snake plants are super resilient too, they barely need anything and they've got this elegant thing going on. Then if you want something with a bit more personality, calatheas tolerate shade pretty well, you just can't forget to water them regularly or they become a pain. I've got a pretty dark corner at my place and pothos saved my life - it climbs everywhere and it's almost impossible to kill.
