I noticed my old 2015 Converse are falling apart - the sole is coming off. Before I buy them again, I was wondering if they've improved the quality by 2026 or if they're still kinda flimsy like they used to be. Has anyone here bought them recently?
Don't kid yourself into thinking they've become some durability masterpiece. Converse are still what they've always been: comfortable, iconic, but the build quality is pretty mediocre, especially if you wear them every day. If your 2015 pair is falling apart, well, that's just their natural lifespan, unfortunately. They're worth buying if you love the style and you're okay replacing them every couple years, but if you want shoes that actually last, better look elsewhere - like Vans or stuff like that which at least holds up a bit better.
