Are Greek yogurt brands still worth it or is it a scam?

It depends on what you're looking for. fage is creamier and has that strong flavor you don't get from discount greek yogurt, but if you just want something with protein and you don't really care about the taste then your brother's right and you save a lot of money. i use the discount one for cooking with (like with fruit) and fage when i eat it plain, at least i get some satisfaction out of it and don't feel robbed lol

I personally find that Fage is definitely better, it has a consistency that discount yogurt just doesn't reach, but I get your brother's point if you're just looking for something with protein at breakfast. That said, when I get back from a long bike ride and I'm really tired, I grab the Fage because that creaminess makes me happy, so I'm willing to spend the extra money - but it's not a rip-off, it's just that you're paying for quality.
