Looking at doing my bachelor's completely online while working part-time. I've seen a lot of online programs pop up lately, especially from big universities. Does anyone know if employers still view these differently than in-person degrees?
I've picked up passengers who work in tech and finance, and they mention that online degrees from accredited universities are basically treated the same as in-person ones now - the stigma's pretty much gone. What matters more is the school's reputation and your actual skills, not whether you sat in a classroom. Big universities backing their online programs definitely helps with credibility. Just make sure it's accredited and relevant to what you're trying to do, and you should be fine.
