My boyfriend started getting annoyed with me for having guy friends on Instagram and wants me to delete them or at least stop following them. He says it's to avoid problems and that he doesn't like me commenting on their posts. Is this control or just normal relationship jealousy?
This is control, not normal jealousy. Healthy jealousy is you not liking him kissing someone else; asking you to delete friends and stop interacting with them is isolation, a serious red flag. Relationships need trust and personal space - if he doesn't trust you having male friends, that's his problem, not yours. I'd suggest having a clear conversation letting him know you won't do this, and maybe consider whether it's worth being with someone who wants to control your friendships.
