You can definitely grow them but you'll need to manually chill your bulbs in the fridge for 6-8 weeks before planting (mimics the winter they'd normally get), then plant them in autumn when temps drop - aussie spring tulips might not be quite as robust as what you had in london but it's totally doable, just requires that extra step. heaps of people do it in sydney and melbourne so you're not fighting an impossible battle!

You can totally grow them! Just chill your tulip bulbs in the fridge for 6-8 weeks before planting in autumn - it mimics the winter they need to trigger flowering. Plenty of Aussies do this and get gorgeous blooms, so don't give up on your tulip dreams! 🌷
