Dark spots after using sunscreen, is that normal?

It's not normal for sunscreen to directly cause dark spots, but it can happen if you already had a predisposition to them (due to genetics or previous sun exposure) and the product isn't good enough or you didn't apply it properly. It's worth checking whether it's really the sunscreen or if the spots were already there and you just noticed them more.
