I just started my small online business and I'm wondering if I really need expensive software like Lexoffice or Sevdesk or if an Excel spreadsheet would be enough. What would you guys recommend? I'm dealing with maybe 50-100 invoices per month.
With 50-100 invoices a month, Excel gets messy and error-prone pretty quick - that's when accounting software really pays for itself, just to keep track of everything and avoid hassles with the tax office later. Lexoffice or similar tools aren't even that expensive when you do the math, and they end up saving you more time than you'd spend on the cost.
