Do I really need accounting software as a sole proprietor?

I just started my small online business and I'm wondering if I really need expensive software like Lexoffice or Sevdesk or if an Excel spreadsheet would be enough. What would you guys recommend? I'm dealing with maybe 50-100 invoices per month.
