Russians can enter Thailand visa-free for up to 30 days - that's the visa-free regime. For a two-week trip, you definitely don't need a visa. At the airport upon entry, you just fill out a migration card, show your passport, and you're good to go. The main requirement is that your passport must be valid for at least six months from the date of entry.
Keep in mind that this is a visa-free regime, not a lack of border control. At the border they can still ask for a return ticket, hotel booking confirmation, or information about where you'll be staying and your financial means. Practically nobody has dealt with this during standard tourism, but it's formally required. Bring electronic copies or printouts of your documents with you.
If you ever decide you want to stay longer than 30 days, you can extend your stay directly in Thailand through immigration services, but that's a separate procedure. For two weeks, it's all straightforward.
The main thing is to bring a return ticket when you enter and make sure you have enough blank pages in your passport. Migration officers sometimes nitpick about this specifically, even though visa-free entry lets you stay in the country for up to 30 days without documents.
