I'm looking for streamers who do live quiz shows with cool prizes. I used to enjoy watching that stuff last year but I lost track of my favorites. Do you have any recommendations for channels that do that regularly?
I'm not really into Twitch stuff so I can't tell you who's doing quizzes right now, it changes all the time. But you could check out the "Creative" or "Games" categories on the platform directly, look for French streamers with regular viewers and see which ones announce quiz events in their description. Or ask in streamer Discord communities, that's where people share the good info about special streams with giveaways.
Quizzes on Twitch are really cyclical, there are periods where it's booming and others where it's quieter! The thing is a lot of streamers do quizzes just occasionally, not regularly, so you really gotta follow them so you don't miss when they launch their sessions. I'd recommend checking notifications or retweets from channels you liked before - people often announce their quiz sessions through social media! And honestly, find Discord communities for quizzes or groups that share live quiz schedules, it's more reliable than just scrolling through Twitch blindly.
Twitch does have a decent number of streamers doing quizzes on a regular basis, even if it's true that it fluctuates. The thing is, big quiz formats with nice prizes require budgets and that's not everyone's cup of tea, so you're more likely to find them with established streamers or channels affiliated with brands. Honestly, you'd be better off checking out gaming or general knowledge accounts, then look at recent VODs to see who's actually keeping up a regular schedule rather than betting on recommendations that can get outdated pretty quick.
The problem is that streamers who regularly do quizzes with actual prizes have become rarer than they used to be - a lot of them stopped because prizes get expensive. I'd suggest searching directly in the Twitch search bar by typing "quiz" or "trivia" and filtering by "Live now" to see who's streaming, then you can check their schedule to see if they do it weekly. Otherwise you could also look at the Discord servers of gaming streamers you used to follow - they often announce special events there instead of doing them live every day.
The guys are right that it's gotten less stable, but honestly there are still channels doing quizzes regularly. The thing is you really gotta check the schedules directly instead of waiting for it to show up in your recommendations. On Twitch search for keywords like "quiz live" or "trivia" and look at streamers who have set times for that stuff, it helps you spot the real regulars.
About the nice prize pools, it's true a lot of them cut back because it hits the budget, but you'll still find people doing little giveaways regularly even if they're not huge. Like skins, game codes or straight-up cash. Since you were watching that last year, try digging through your Twitch history or your old deleted favorites - sometimes the data's still traceable. Otherwise join some small Discord communities linked to quizzes, that's where streamers announce their sessions before they even go live.
You're right that it's gotten more sporadic, but a strategy that works well is to follow the Discord communities or Facebook groups specialized in Twitch quizzes - streamers often announce their sessions there before going live, so you don't miss anything. Otherwise check out small regional streamers (French ones especially) who do themed quizzes, they're usually more reliable with their schedules and the prizes can be nice even if they're not huge 💯
Big streamers doing quizzes with decent prizes has honestly become pretty specific to certain communities. Personally I've noticed a lot of them are now going for free small quizzes or ones with point/reward systems instead of actual prizes, so you might have to dig through niche communities (general knowledge quizzes, specific video game quizzes, etc.) where it still works.
