I just remembered all those jokes we used to tell back in school. You know, like the Chuck Norris ones or all those blonde jokes. Are there any that have stuck with you or that you still find funny?
Chuck Norris jokes were everywhere back then, they spread like wildfire at school. Honestly, I still find some of them funny even though they're totally silly - kind of nostalgic, you know. I can't really remember that many blonde jokes anymore, but the Chuck Norris stuff just stuck with me because it was so absurd (Chuck Norris doesn't need an HTTP status code, he responds with violence, that kind of thing). I think memes just replaced them - nowadays it's different jokes on the internet.
For me, it's more the blonde jokes that stuck around, and to be honest, I can't laugh at those anymore today - they were just mean.
But what really stayed with me are those absurd Norris jokes, where the punchlines kept getting more extreme the more of them went around. I think the funny part wasn't really the individual joke, but that everyone tried to come up with an even dumber one than the other. It had this snowball effect during school years.
I'm remembering those really awful jokes about people with disabilities that were going around back then - I honestly can't fathom how we found that funny anymore.
What actually stuck with me though: all those "Why" jokes, like "Why do blondes have blue eyes? Because they haven't had to cry yet" - those were less mean and kind of more absurd.
