Chery X50 luxury 2021. The car has noticeably gotten lower, especially with passengers inside. My neighbor says I need to replace the springs completely. But maybe I can just tighten something somewhere?
Over five years that's normal, but for a luxury X50 you shouldn't put off the replacement - the springs are completely worn out, just tightening them won't help. Your neighbor's right, you need to replace the whole set, otherwise the entire suspension will get misaligned and drag the shock absorbers and tie rods along with it.
