Before you buy, go straight to the official website of the concert venue or festival, not resellers - that's where cancellations get announced first. Also check the artist's and organizer's social media, they often post updates there before the website. If you really want to be sure, contact the box office by email or phone, they'll tell you the current status of the show. And of course, don't wait too long to buy if you really want to go - some concerts sell out fast 🎵

If you've already paid and you're worried, you can also contact the ticket office directly by email or phone - sometimes small cancellations don't show up on social media right away and they'll give you the real answer without having to wait.

The thing is, even if you check everywhere, a cancellation can drop really late and you only find out about it after you've already bought your ticket 😅 My advice: call the venue a couple days before the concert, like the day before, just to be sure - a lot of small cancellations don't make enough noise on social media and emails can get stuck in your inbox. Takes two minutes and saves you from a huge letdown (and the hassle of getting a refund afterward).
