How do I fix holes from dropped stitches without unraveling everything?

I'm currently knitting a sweater and wasn't paying attention while watching TV yesterday - suddenly two or three stitches slipped off my needle and dropped down. Now I've got these annoying holes in my pattern. Can I still fix this without ripping the whole thing apart?

You can use a crochet hook to pick up the dropped stitches from below, pulling them up row by row - it's way faster and less frustrating than ripping everything out. If you've never done it before, watch a quick video on it, but the principle is really simple and works even with multiple stitches next to each other.
