How do I replace a burned-out circuit breaker?
The kitchen circuit breaker turned black and won't go back anymore. I tried turning it off and on again but nothing. Can I replace it myself or do I need to call an electrician?

I agree it's dangerous for sure, but before you call an electrician have you already turned off the main breaker for the house? Because sometimes it's just the kitchen breaker that blew and then it's more straightforward, but still I'd call a professional to do it safely - it's not expensive and you avoid the risk of getting shocked or burning out the wiring.
