Two months is totally fine, they'll easily last a year in the freezer if they were packed properly. What matters for you is how they're stored - are they in a container, in a freezer bag, or how did you freeze them? If there's frost or ice crystals on them or the packaging got opened at some point, I wouldn't eat them anymore, but otherwise they should still be perfectly good.

jan_fischer asker Vacuum-sealed in freezer bags with no visible ice crystals. The packaging was always closed.

In my freezer, strawberries always end up in freezer bags, and two months really isn't a problem - they easily last longer than that. But what a lot of people forget: if the strawberries weren't properly dry beforehand or if you can see freezer burn (those whitish spots), you probably shouldn't use them anymore, even if they'd technically still be fine time-wise. That happens fast when moisture gets involved or the packaging wasn't airtight enough. Just take a look at yours - if they're simply frozen and look normal, you can use them without worry.

Did you blanch the strawberries first or just freeze them raw? That makes a huge difference! Two months is totally fine - frozen strawberries easily last a year, sometimes even longer, as long as your freezer stays consistently cold and the packaging is airtight. Here's the practical trick most people miss: lay the strawberries on a baking sheet before freezing, freeze them individually, and only then put them in bags! That way they won't clump together into one solid block and you can just grab what you need later without thawing the whole batch - saves you crazy amounts of time when you're cooking or making smoothies!

jan_fischer asker Frozen directly raw, without blanching. Freezer runs constantly at minus 18 degrees.
