Between Steam, Epic, and a few Xbox Game Pass subscriptions, I end up spending more than I expected every month. I was wondering if that's normal or if I'm just overdoing it with impulse purchases during sales.
Set a fixed monthly budget and stick to it, that's it! Most people who play regularly spend between 10 and 30 euros a month, depending on how many games you actually want to try. Sales are the thing that tricks you into buying games you never end up playing, so maybe wait for Steam wishlist sales and only buy stuff you're actually going to play soon, not in six months. Xbox Game Pass is worth it if you actually use it, otherwise it's just money down the drain.
