I'm trying to renovate my bedroom, which is pretty small and dark. I'd like to figure out what colors could make it look bigger and brighter without spending a fortune on work. Does anyone have experiences to share?
Light colors like white, beige, or light gray reflect light and really make the room look bigger - I tried a warm beige and the change is noticeable compared to before. If you want to avoid it looking too sterile, you can do an accent wall in a slightly darker color and keep the rest bright, so you add character without losing that sense of space.
