I had a similar dream a while back and it made me think about it quite a bit, but nothing ended up happening 😅 Usually these dreams aren't omens but rather your brain processing stress, fears, or even just the desire for change that we have inside us - the fact that you felt relieved in the dream is interesting, maybe unconsciously part of you wants to try something new or escape from a situation that's weighing on you. The anxiety when you wake up is normal because the subject matter is pretty heavy, but I wouldn't read too much into it being a bad omen, it's more likely that your brain is just processing everyday anxieties or fantasies of freedom that you don't have the courage to face while awake 😊

Dreams of this type almost always reflect what your brain is processing while you're awake - anxieties, changes, uncertainties - rather than being actual omens. The fact that you felt relieved in the dream is interesting: it could mean that part of you, on an unconscious level, feels the need for a change or a break, even if rationally your work situation is stable. The anxiety when you wake up comes afterward, when your conscious mind takes back control and reinterprets the dream in a negative way. It's not a sign that it will actually happen, but rather your brain communicating that you should pay attention to how you're feeling about work right now.
