I've got a plug-in hybrid, can I actually use rapid chargers or not?

Turns out three-quarters of the popular plug-in hybrid cars in the UK can't use rapid chargers. If you own one of these vehicles, you might want to check whether yours is affected and what that means for your charging options going forward.

That stat's a bit misleading since it really depends on your specific model - some PHEVs absolutely can use rapid chargers, others are limited to slower AC charging. Best move is to check your owner's manual or the manufacturer's specs for your exact vehicle, then you'll know if you're stuck with regular chargers or have rapid options available.
