I've never done it myself, but from what I hear from people who have, it's tedious work that pays pretty poorly - usually not worth your time unless you're genuinely short on cash and can't find anything else. Are you looking at it as a side gig, or just curious about whether it's legit?
Did it for a couple weeks last year and honestly, the pay was rough - like $15-20 an hour if you're fast and accurate, which most people aren't starting out. The work itself isn't hard, just mind-numbing (labeling thousands of images or text snippets), and you're basically training the systems that'll eventually replace similar jobs! Only worth it if you genuinely need quick cash and have nothing else going on, otherwise your time's better spent literally anywhere else.
