TheFork is better if you want real discounts, especially on weekdays when they offer cashback or fixed-price menus. TripAdvisor is more useful if you're looking for detailed reviews before booking, but for actually making the reservation it's still better to go straight to the restaurant's website or use TheFork. Basically, read on TripAdvisor and then book on TheFork if there's a discount that interests you, otherwise just call the place directly.

TheFork usually has discounts and exclusive offers you won't find anywhere else, so it's worth checking there first 🍽️ TripAdvisor is more useful for reading honest reviews of the restaurant, but for actually booking TheFork often saves you money.

It depends on what you're looking for at that moment: if you want the best price, check TheFork first because the discounts are real and often exclusive; if you want to understand what kind of place it actually is, read the reviews on TripAdvisor. I've personally tried both and I've come across the same restaurant with different offers (TheFork had a fixed-price menu while TripAdvisor didn't), so checking both takes little time and you can make an informed choice. The only thing to keep in mind is that TheFork has more restaurants in big cities, while TripAdvisor covers more places, so sometimes you don't have an alternative.
