Is it worth buying a steam washing machine for home?

It depends on your space and routine, but in my experience here at home it's more of a luxury than a necessity - it works well for heavy cleaning, but it doesn't really replace a regular broom and cloth for everyday use. If you've got extra money and want to make life easier, sure, but it's not essential.
