It really depends on the artist and the venue - some shows cost a fortune, others are way more affordable if you look around. The trick is comparing prices across different platforms, going to smaller venues instead of huge stadiums, and every now and then there's a promotion or discount for members. It's worth it if it's someone you really want to see, otherwise it does end up being too expensive.

Tickets are definitely expensive, like 100-200 reais for a small show, 300+ for a festival, plus parking or transport, plus beer inside for 25 reais... but the live experience is way different from listening at home. If you've got extra money and want to get out of the house, it's worth doing every once in a while. But if you're tight on cash, maybe it's better to wait for shows by artists you really love.
