Being honest, if you're making just a few thousand a month, only open a shop if you actually have a physical product to sell, because otherwise the costs with an accountant, invoices and everything else are gonna eat up a good chunk of your profit 😅 If it's just monetization from views/engagement, keep things as they are, it's way more chill and you won't be stuck dealing with bureaucracy. Now, if you have a cool product to offer and you think you can move a lot of sales there, then it's worth having a chat with an accountant to calculate properly if you'll actually make money, because TikTok Shop also charges commission fees.
