I have a Bosch that I bought back in 2011 and it works well, but a few months ago the spin cycle got really weak. The clothes come out still pretty wet. The technician said it's either the belt or the motor, somewhere around 150-200 euros. Do you think I should spend that or is it better to buy a new one?

A Bosch from 2011 that's still holding up fine in other functions is definitely worth fixing for €150-200 - the belt or motor is usually routine maintenance and the machine can easily last a few more years. But let me ask: does the weak spin cycle really affect your daily life that much (does your laundry take forever to dry afterward?) or is it just an annoyance? And did the technician give you any warranty on that work?
