Online courses can open doors for you, but it really depends on how serious you are about the projects you do during the course, you know? A lot of people just stick to watching the videos, but employers want to see a portfolio with actual projects you've solved. A full degree gives you more structure and credibility, but if you combine an intensive course (like a 3-6 month bootcamp) with solid projects on GitHub and maybe some hands-on experience, you've got a pretty good shot without needing a 4-year degree. What kind of data interests you most - Python, SQL, dashboards?
