It's not a scam, but don't expect to get rich either. Returns vary quite a bit depending on the platform and market conditions - you might get 3-5% per year if things go well, but the price of ETH can also tank and wipe out your gains. It's really more for people who already hodl crypto and want to make some passive income off it instead of just letting it sit on an exchange.
