I bought a Brother MFC-L8360CDW about 6 months ago and lately every time I try to scan multiple documents in a row, the machine freezes and I have to turn it off and back on. I've already cleaned the glass and the rollers, but it keeps doing this. Has anyone else had this problem?
Try updating the printer's firmware directly from the Brother website - a lot of people with this model report exactly this issue and the update fixes it in most cases! If it keeps freezing anyway, try reducing the number of documents per session (like 10-15 at a time instead of scanning everything together) and leave a few seconds between scans, because sometimes it's a buffer problem that fills up too fast. If it persists even after that, it's getting closer to being a hardware issue and then it's worth contacting Brother directly.
