My Pioneer car stereo keeps losing Bluetooth sync while I'm driving

I recently installed a Pioneer DMH-WT7600NEX in my car and the Bluetooth connection drops every 5 minutes or so. I have to restart the unit for it to work again. This happens to me with both my phone and my partner's phone. Is it a problem with the unit or is there something in the car that's interfering?
