I installed some wifi smart switches in my house two months ago and the battery only lasts about 3 weeks. Is that normal or am I doing something wrong? Is there any way to extend the battery life without changing them constantly?
Three weeks is pretty short - most of them last at least two or three months, so something's going on. Check that your wifi is close and strong (switches that are far from the network drain way more battery hunting for signal), and also look in the app to see if there's any polling configuration or constant updates turned on that might be killing it.
