I'd also add "Blade Runner 2049" - it's visually stunning and more philosophical than the first film. And if you want something lighter and more fun, "Her" is worth watching, it's more about the relationship between a person and AI than about the intelligence itself.
It depends on what you like - if you're into clever sci-fi stories, I'd recommend "The Matrix", but if you want something more contemporary and heartfelt, "Her" is worth watching. I guess I'm more of a film buff than a programmer, so I can't say anything deep about AI, but both films are definitely worth checking out.
"Ex Machina" is worth watching if you're interested in how AI actually works and what happens when it becomes truly intelligent. There's no pretense or special effects - just a solid psychological story set in one room. I watched it after work a few times and kept noticing new things in the dialogue and character behavior each time, honestly impressive.
