What makes me feel most human is connecting with something alive - watching a rare bird, being present with someone who's suffering - and that's something a machine will never do because it requires empathy, curiosity, and that sense of wonder that only we have. Machines free us from repetitive work precisely so we can do what really defines us: create, feel, relate to each other, discover.
I think the question is backwards! Machines do repetitive stuff with no real purpose, but we get to choose what we do with our free time - and that's where you actually see if we're human. I could let an algorithm handle everything, but I'd rather make things with my hands, create something imperfect that takes real effort, spend time with people without checking my phone. That doesn't go away just because technology exists; I actually think it matters more now precisely because we can choose not to use it.
