What's a good laptop for Python programming without spending a lot?

I'm just starting to learn Python now and I need a notebook that runs well. My budget is around 3-4 thousand reais, but I don't want anything too expensive if I'm just gonna use it for studying anyway.

Python doesn't require much, so a notebook with a processor like a recent-gen Ryzen 5 or i5, 8GB of RAM and an SSD is already more than enough for you to learn comfortably. In that 3-4k range you'll find brands like Positivo, Avell or even Lenovo that run everything smoothly, and focus on warranty because a good notebook is one you don't have to keep taking to the service center all the time.

are you thinking about using it just for studying or are you planning to work on some projects later? either way, look into some notebooks with ryzen 5 or a more recent i5, 8gb of ram and ssd because honestly 3-4k works just fine for that, but i'd also check if there's a discount at some stores like amazon or kabum before you decide. people think they need a lot of processing power but python runs fine even on way more modest machines than that

mariana75 asker I'm planning to develop projects later on then. I'll check out those models at the stores you mentioned.
