Dwarf apricot varieties like 'Goldrich' or 'Tilton' max out at 2-3 meters, perfect for tight spaces like a balcony. I tried growing one in a pot a few years back and honestly it held up well if you watered it regularly and gave it at least 6 hours of direct sun a day. Go for a big pot (at least 40-50 liters) and pick a self-fertile variety so you don't need another plant for pollination, and you'll still get fruit.
