Which cream helps against age spots on the face?

I'm 42 and over the past few years I've been getting more and more brown spots on my forehead and cheekbones. I spend a lot of time outdoors and didn't really pay attention to sun protection back in the day. What products have you had good experiences with? Does vitamin C help or do you need something stronger?

Vitamin C serum actually did help me, but honestly I needed something stronger in the end - I eventually switched to a cream with niacinamide and azelaic acid and that helped a lot more 😊 A lot of people swear by retinol too, but you should start slowly with it because your skin reacts at first.

Sunscreen is absolutely essential now so it doesn't get worse - SPF 50+ every day if you're outside a lot.

If the spots really bother you, it might be worth seeing a dermatologist too, they can offer you something more professional like laser treatment and stuff, but creams are a good starting point!
