Canvas ones are going to get dirty anyway, that's the thing. Better go for synthetic materials like faux leather or treated mesh - those clean right up with a damp cloth, no problem. Brands like Nike, Adidas, and New Balance make white models in those materials that hold up pretty well to everyday wear. If you keep them clean with a quick wipe every couple of days, they'll last way longer than canvas, trust me.

If you're going to be walking around all day, what really works is looking for sneakers with a water-repellent or Teflon coating on the material (some synthetics come that way from the factory). Besides being easy to wipe clean with a cloth, it keeps liquids and dirt from sticking to the surface so quickly. What kind of stains worry you more - dust and dirt, or something stickier like mud?
